Academic Hostel is a perfect budget accommodation for students, backpackers and leisure tourists visiting Tallinn. Hostel is located in a brand-new building where all rooms are newly furnished. The hostel is on the Tallinn Technical University campus, surrounded by quiet residential area and forest, with easy access to campus amenities, public transportation, affordable food and pubs. It’s a safe environment surrounded by jogging and skiing trails. There are 108 twin rooms in the hostel.

Location:
Hostel located on the Tallinn Technical University campus, just 15 minutes drive from the city centre, railway and central bus station, passenger harbour. Distance from the major centers: 10 km (6,3 miles) from the International Airport, 5 km (3,1 miles) from the City Center, 5 km (3,1 miles) from the International Ferry Terminal, 5 km (3,1 miles) from the International Helicopter Port, 4 km (2,5 miles) from the Main Railway Station, 5 km (3,1 miles) from the Medieval Old town, 0,2 km (0,1 miles) from the Public transportation.

Meals:
For catering we offer packed food packages. Breakfast is available for individual and groups. Lunch and dinner is available only for groups from 8 persons. Breakfast package consist of sandwich, 2 white bread, yoghurt, fruit, and coffee or tea. Packages will be available at reception starting 8 am for extra charge 4 EUR. Dining in surrounding restaurants/cantines.

Pets allowed, additional fee will apply (about 100 EEK/per night, price may change).

Accommodation cancellation without penalty 24 hours (1 day) before arrival.



Directions:
"The way from airport to our hostel (Academic hostel): Bus nr.2 from Airport to the Center (stop. A.Laikmaa) and trolleybus nr. 3 from center (stop:Kaubamaja) to Mustamäe (stop:Keemia). 1) Take Bus nr. 2 from the Airport ( drive will last ca 15min): NB! Please be sure that You wait on the right bus stop as there are two. The one You need is just on the right hand side when You leave the first exit from the Arrivals door. 2) Take trolleybus nr. 3 from the city center from ’Kaubamaja’ stop to ’Keemia’ stop (13th stop) PS After You exit bus nr. 2 cross the road and walk back a bit, turn right (around the corner) walk again a bit and if You see the first footpassengers cross…cross it and You should see trolleybuses or atleast people waiting.
